As usual, I came to school today and did the normal routine everyday. Opening the door, ushering the class out for flag-raising, you get the idea. First period was Physics, and we went for lab to continue our previously shortened lab session on Light and Reflection. Next up was the thing that I was looking forward to most for the day, PE. It was our first actual PE session of the year, since the first session was just our 2.4km run timing and some pull-up training. I could say that it was quite a boring session even though we did soccer. The heat from the Sun was really affecting my vision thus I found it quite hard to score. In the end the game ended in a draw.

After PE we had our recess period before having HMT. We had our holiday homework presentations today, and we were basically given the task of creating a game, either based on a traditional one or creating a totally new one. It was really very fun seeing all the creative ideas of the other groups. Our final two periods for the week was Literature. We learned some useful tips about setting questions for poems. Our dramatisation for 'Dulce Et Decorum Est' was postponed to the next lesson.

After dismissal time, the Muslim boys went for Friday prayers. After that, I had the usual NPCC parade. But today was special because a selected few of us had been chosen for the 'Inter-Unit Campcraft Competition 2008' and i was one of them. So instead of parading around with the rest of our squadmates, we were down beside the field tying lashes and hitting pegs. There was not much for me to do for today since we had full attendance for the main team and I was only a reserve so I ended up watching the soccer match between VS B' Division Boys and Tampines Junior College. Judging by their super coordination, we have one of the most promising soccer teams in a long time. This team was the one that got 2nd in the National Inter-School C' Division Soccer Competition. The match was won by our boys and the score was 6-0.

After dismissal from NPCC, we had our usual 'bonding' soccer match. It was by far the better of the two matches that I had played today. By the time I reached home it was already 9 p.m, so after this post I am straight away going to bed.
